Asking “how much is a tow?” is a bit like asking “how much is a taxi?”. It depends on where you are going. What should never be a mystery is how the price is built, and when you hear it.
Our price, in two parts
- The call-out. A standard call-out starts from €150. It covers the truck coming to your car and loading it.
- The distance. Then €2 per km, depending on where the car is going.
That is why the first thing we ask for, after your name and the registration, is two Eircodes: where the car is now and where it needs to go. With those, we can give you a total on the call.

What can change the figure
The figures above are for a standard job. Tell us on the call if any of these apply, so the price you agree is the right one:
- The vehicle is a van, or is loaded
- It will not roll, steer or brake, or the wheels are damaged
- It is electric or hybrid and the wheels are locked
- It is somewhere awkward to reach, like a basement car park with a height barrier
If something changes the price, you hear it before you agree, not after.
The question worth asking any recovery company
“Is that the full price, agreed now, before the truck moves?” A clear yes is what you want. With us, the truck only sets off once you have agreed the figure on the phone.

Paying
Card on the phone, a pay-by-card link sent by text, or cash.
An example of the details we need
“Hi, my name is Aoife. The registration is 191-D-12345. The car is at D15 XXXX and it needs to go to my garage at D07 XXXX.” That is a complete call. We do the sums and tell you the figure.
