If anyone is hurt or in danger, call 112 first. Ring us once everyone is safe.
How much does a tow cost?
A standard call-out starts from €150, plus €2 per km depending on where the car is going. We work out the figure with you on the phone and agree it before the truck moves.
What details do you take on the call?
Your name, the registration, and the Eircode where the car is now and the Eircode where it needs to go. With those we can give you the price.
Can you take an electric car?
Yes. Give us the make, the model and whether it will go into neutral, and we plan the job round it.
Do you move vans?
Yes, vans as well as cars. Say it is a van when you ring, and roughly what is in it.
Is there a tow truck near me?
If you are in Dublin, ring 087 116 1102 with the Eircode where the car is. We tell you on the call whether we can come and what it costs, before anything is booked.
How do I pay?
Card on the phone, a pay-by-card link sent by text, or cash. Whatever suits you.
Someone is hurt. Who do I call?
Call 112 first, every time. Ring us once everyone is safe and the emergency services are dealing with it.
I do not know the Eircode. What then?
Tell us the road, the nearest junction, a shop or landmark, or send a map pin from your phone. We will find it together.
Can the car go to my own garage?
Yes. You choose where it goes: home, your garage, a dealer or another address. The destination is part of the price, which is why we ask for it first.
Is the price fixed once we agree it?
The price we agree on the phone is based on what you tell us: the car, where it is and where it is going. If something is very different when the truck arrives, we talk to you before anything is loaded.
Do I need to stay with the car?
Only if it is safe to. On a motorway or a fast road, wait behind the barrier, away from traffic.
Do you cover all of Dublin?
We work across Dublin. Give us the Eircode of the pickup and the destination and we will confirm on the call.
What kind of tow truck do you send?
A flatbed recovery truck. The car or van goes up onto the deck and is strapped down at the wheels, so it travels with its wheels off the road. That is also how electric cars should be moved.
I have broken down on the M50. Can you come?
Yes. First get everyone out on the verge side, behind the crash barrier, and call 112 if anyone is injured. Then ring us with your direction of travel and the nearest junction number; the price is agreed on the call.

Still not sure?
Ring 087 116 1102 and describe the car and where it is. The prices page shows how the figure is worked out, and the recovery notes cover the M50, electric cars and the first hour after a crash.
