Some roadside problems are small and some are not. The first job is to work out which one you have, and that starts with a short phone call. Whether you are on the M50, a city street or in a car park, roadside assistance in Dublin starts the same way.

Tell us what the car is doing

  • It will not start, or it clicks, or nothing happens at all
  • It started but lost power and stopped
  • A tyre has gone down
  • It has run out of fuel, or has the wrong fuel in it
  • A warning light is on and you do not trust it

If it cannot be fixed where it is

Then it goes on the tow truck and we take it to the address you choose: home, your garage or a dealer. The price is the same simple structure as any tow. A standard call-out starts from €150, plus €2 per km depending on the destination, agreed on the phone before the truck sets off.

Waiting safely on the M50 or another fast road

On a motorway or fast road, do not try to fix anything yourself beside the traffic. Hazard lights on, everyone out on the verge side, and wait behind the barrier. In a car park or on a quiet street, stay with the car if you feel safe.

What we will ask you

Your name, the registration, where the car is and where it should go if it needs moving. That is all we need to give you a price. Not sure which you need? Read roadside assistance vs a towing service.

Questions about this

How do I know whether it needs a tow?

Describe what the car is doing when you ring. If it plainly needs to go on the truck, we will say so.

I am on the M50. What should I do?

Hazard lights on, then everyone out on the verge side to wait behind the barrier. Ring 112 straight away if there is an injury or you feel unsafe. Then ring us with the direction you are going and the nearest junction.

Can you come to a car park?

Yes. Tell us the level, any height barrier and where the car is parked.
